Laminating Leading Edge Templates

I continued the work on the leading edge moulds. Laid up three plies of 300 g plain-weave glass fabric onto the previously cut XPS foam templates. This is a positive form. Later I will have to make the negative mould from it. It is a somewhat involved process and certainly not the most efficient approach, but a good opportunity to learn mould-making.

If I simply wanted to get the leading edges done, it would be much faster to make them in wood — either Balsa, Samba or Red Cedar.
